April Update

Thursday, April 6th, 2006

April is a very busy time for all the staff at Banalasta. Not long after completing the lavender harvest with our new harvesting machine, the eucalyptus harvest beckoned. The eucalyptus harvest has been successfully completed with a pleasing increase in yield. Just in time, as the days in the Northern New South Wales highlands grow shorter and the temperatures start to drop, particularly overnight.

The harvest is always of interest to our visitors. Small and large groups enjoy tours of the plantations and get a close look at our distillery in action – as well as the wonderful scents of the lavender and eucalyptus!

Our technical and “artistic” team members are focused on the fine tuning of some exciting new products to add to our range and a new and fresh look for some of our tried and trusted favourites. The sales staff are impatient to get their hands on the new look range for their customers.

April also sees Auzure’s, Wendy Imashev commuting once again to Europe laden with Banalasta products and a diary packed with appointments. We look forward to Wendy bringing on some extra clients to keep all at Banalasta busy.

As always we welcome our business associates to visit us to experience the “Aussie bush”, our plantations, pastoral land and our vineyards – with 6000 hectares, we have some space to share! Managing Director/Owner, Rolf Blickling enjoys explaining the workings of the business frequently from a motorbike or the back of a ute (Aussie for 4WD truck) as he covers some of the 30 km of dirt roads that cover the property-a far cry from his native Munich, Germany.

Until you get here, take an armchair walk on our ever-changing website http://ww.banalasta.com.au

Best regards
