Property News
There
is plenty of activity on the Banalasta property at the moment. The
lavender fields will be blooming for the next 2-3 weeks and will be harvested
in late December (wether permitting). Our eucalyptus crop is still
being harvested and will be completed in February 2008. Great news for
vino drinkers, we are in the process of bottling new wines for early
2008 launch.
Our tourist lavender fields are an awesome sight, allowing you to
stroll among the hedges and soak up the perfume of this healing plant.
Distillery tours are always a must do activity to understand how we
extract the essential oils from our plants.
The feeding of our wide menagerie of animals - alpacas, ostriches,
donkeys and a shetland pony and camel - is always a great hit for the
children.
We welcome you to our award winning Visitor Centre, 7 days per week,
9-5pm (except Christmas Eve and Christmas Day).
Live Music
Many thanks to those
who made it out for the monthly ‘Live Music’ events – these days are
always a great success, drawing in big crowds to listen to the
extensive variety of musical talents on offer. Our upcoming events are
always posted on our home page so stay tuned, the atmosphere on these
days is electric.
Our musical talent scheduled for Sunday, 6 January 2008 will be Toni
Swain, playing cool jazz, blues and groove.
If
you have not already noticed, we have a new, improved, user friendly,
interactive website, launched only 2 weeks ago. We have upgraded our
overall look, search and ordering functionality and added a
"search tips" link to help you source any information
pertaining to the wonderful benefits of using eucalyptus and lavender

You can join up to be a newsletter member or create your
own wish lists, leave testimonial messages about our wide product
ranges and write comments in response to our news and media articles,
besides the usual secure on-line ordering system - now offering PayPal
and direct deposit facilities. We would love to hear your feedback.
Our special is valid until Friday, 21 December 2007 and is only
available via our website.
Anyone wishing to purchase wines are reminded that mail/freight
deliveries during December can be unreliable and we suggest not leaving
any deliveries after say the second week of December if you wish to
have them by Christmas day.
